ABOUT SCHOOL OF PHARMACY, Kawali

The School of Pharmacy was established in the year 2018. Since then, the School has been actively involved in imparting a relevant knowledge base and technical skills in the field of pharmaceutical education; offering engrossing research activities in the field of industrial research, development of eco-friendly and “green innovative methodologies”, and fundamental academic research.We educate student pharmacists to Compassionate /Ethical Professionals who improve medication use and provide quality patient care the slogan of school is “Todays student-centered learning for Tomorrows Patient- centered care and heal the Sick”.

The School of Pharmacy was established with a view to promote a center of excellence in pharmaceutical education and to prepare young learners to meet the global challenges of pharmaceutical industries, academia, research and development, marketing, clinical as well as in community pharmacy. The School of Pharmacy at present provides diploma, degree, and PG level programs, and all the programs are approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi.

Pharmacists are considered one of the most visible and one of the most accessible health care professionals in the world. Every day, lacs of people walk into drug stores and consult with pharmacists for assistance and take advice for their health care needs. It is an incredibly exciting time to pursue a career in pharmacy and students graduating from YBN University have a wide range of career opportunities available to them. The School offers excellent infrastructure with sophisticated equipment and well-equipped laboratories; and knowledge in the form of a vast collection of relevant books and journals.

Dean's Message

The journey of School of Pharmacy under the umbrella of YBN University has been magnificent one. It was established in 2018 with the motive to provide quality pharmacy education at Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral levels. In this fast paced competitive world, conceptual knowledge, practical learning and the ability to innovate are the key focus areas of our School with an emphasis on quality.

School of Pharmacy has made significant inroads in the sphere of pharmaceutical education, research and development. This has been achieved by outstanding student participation in various activities supported by highly qualified and motivated faculty, a state of Art infrastructure and virtual learning system.

The School of Pharmacy aims to thrive in the area of industrial as well as clinical and community-based research. To accomplish this vision, Institute has highly sophisticated laboratories, well equipped machine rooms; central instrumentation facility, full-fledged hospital with more than thousand beds, Drug Information Centre, molecular biology laboratory, Computer Aided Drug Design centre, which satisfies the practical and research need of the students.
