About
The School of Engineering & Technology was started in the year 2018. It is one of the largest schools in the YBN University and offers three years diploma, four years B.Tech and two years M.Tech. programs in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, ECE and Computer Science Engineering. The three years diploma, four years B.Tech Degree course with an annual intake of 30 students in each streams and two years M.Tech program in all branches. The annual intake in the postgraduate program is 18 in each stream. Departmental library is available to the students apart from Central library with sufficient number of books for the convenience of easy accessibility. The school of Engineering and Technology is headed by senior professors having excellent academic credentials and experience of teaching, publications and research. The faculty members have vast experiences in educational institutions and the industry. Students also have an opportunity to learn from a distinguished panel of experts drawn from various industries. The School has well equipped workshop and laboratories required for all programs. The University has tied up with different industries and Universities to bridge the gap between student quality and current industry needs.
The School of Engineering and Technology had completed three memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Jharkhand Government Tool Room, Ranchi, BSNL, Ranchi and NIELIT, Ranchi.

Dean Message
The primary aim of the School is to cater to the requirements of the country for Technological Manpower for development and research programs comparable to the best of the world. The school of Engineering and Technology today offers Diploma, B.Tech and M.Tech courses in five disciplines of engineering, namely Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communications and Computer Science Engineering.
The college has top-notch amenities, which include multimedia auditoriums, seminar rooms, a state-of-the-art, well-stocked rich e-library, well-equipped modern laboratories, and a campus-wide network. The college has various co-curricular activities, fully residential hostels, good sports facilities, and a never-dying zeal of staff and students that paves a path for the pursuit of excellence. They provide a pleasant, intellectually stimulating, proactive, and conducive environment for students to feed their curiosities and interests and help them prepare for professional, academic, and social life.
